Cheers! can i add this to a trigger or does it have to be in a script?

Just 2 small queries. Firstly, does anyone know how to save the retry point when creating your own mission?? Secondly i once played a level where day turned into night in a matter of seconds, not just by increasing the speed to 4X etc, but by skipping 12 hours, can anyone tell me how to do this??? Cheers.
