"connection with the server has been lost"

This is probs a stupid question, but here goes..... Is it possible to connect to servers where the ping shows as a grey question mark? Other people can connect to them, but i cant(they get the question mark aswell). Any help or advice please

I dont know if it has been mentioned before but i would like to see some British stuff...
