    That solution (openAL) did not work for me. 8800 Vista32 XFi Sprocket 1.05 DL.

    Interesting, that's the same issue I'm having. Didn't realize it's a XFi problem. Perhaps because Creative's drivers are still beta. Please post if you come up with a useful solution That is, without uninstalling the sound driver.

    Similar experience here. 1.05 Sprocket version on 8800GTX/Vista32/XFi. Crashes 50% of the time SP and 100% of the time MP (while loading the mission). Unplayable. -Gator
