    Cannot detect correct Height

Thank you a lot. Thats it. I've removed the roadway lod and now the altitude is being responded correctly. But it's really sad, too, cause I wanted to walk inside my helicopter. Is there any workaround? EDIT: For all those who have the same problem: I found a workaround. The altitude is detected by the center of your model. You can still use a roadway LOD, if you leave a hole in the LOD where the models center is placed. Altitude detection will be correct by using the getpos command. But the ingame height meter wont always show the correct height.
  2. Hi, Maybe this problem was already solved but I didnt find any thread about it. I made a helicopter, but something got screwed up: Ingame I fly my helicopter and if I pitch it horizontally to the ground, the height meter returns a value of -1, even if I fly 1000 metres up high. I wrote a script to getpos the height of my helicopter, but it also returns a value beneath 0. If I pitch it forward or backwards the height metres gives me the correct height value, but the getpos command does not. I dont know why this should happen. Could you please help me? Thanks in advance. geri0

    Rotation Bug

Hi, last week i learned how to model from brsseb's modelling tutorials. I made an object with a door and animated it like the tutorial described. Everything seemed to work fine ingame. But now I've 2 problems: 1) If i rotate my model ingame, it hasn't got a geo lod anymore. I can walk through. But gunfire is still blocked, except for ... 2) ... the point that deflected gunfire and explosions and so on, seem to appear at the axis point of my animated door (it's a sliding door, so i had to put the axis point far away, but not too far ). I don't know if its really the axis point, but it's far beyond the actual model. My object has the following LODs: - 0.000 Resolution LOD - Geometry LOD (closed & convex, I checked this multiple times) - Memory LOD - Paths - Roadway Do you have any idea what could cause this? It's actually a really simple model, so I don't understand where this bug is coming from. Thanks in advance. geri0
