  1. i figured it out... the dem i was using had all the sea bed height defined as a really "large" negative number (-30000) and that was screwing up the grayscale heightmap conversion. i solved it by going to surface>>point process>>replace to effectively raise the sea bed (base value = -30000; variance = 1; new value = -10). i am now able to view it as a grayscale heightmap, and am able to save it as a tga file with no problems.
  2. i would really like to be able to put my dem to use in visitor, but am having some problems with wilbur. i can open my dem file in wilbur, but when i try to save as tga or 8-bit bmp, it still saves as dem. also, when i try to view the terrain as a grayscale heightmap, the sea becomes black and the land completely white (no elevation information). can someone provide insight as to what i'm doing wrong?
  3. I have designed a MP mission with custom West and East soldiers. Thing is, when I start up a LAN server for the game, upon selecting roles, the pool of players are assigned with USA and RUS flag icons. This bugs me because in the MP mission, i don't have either USA nor RUS soldiers. Is it possible to change this to more correctly reflect the tone of my mission?
