I am really interested in how they are going to pull off densely vegetated environments on the same size scale as those in OFP1. I don't think the graphics technology is at a point in which BIS could make convincing Vietnam environments that are as huge and allow as much freedom of movement as those in OFP1.

I decided to play OFP again after a 1.5 year absence, and I had forgotten how much of a pain in the butt the "After Montignac" mission was. I don't recall being as frustrated with this mission as I am now. It's definitely one of the most difficult missions in the game.

I can't believe it. Â I tried my old original OFP CD-Key and it worked fine. Â I think I will still see if the Codemaster customer service will get a replacement key for bad GOTY one.

I just bought the US GOTY edition, and I get a wrong CD-Key message. I thoroughly checked the letters I inputted to see if that was the problem, but it's not. I guess I will send a message along with a scan of the manual and the error message to customer support and see what the problem is. Heck, maybe I will even try my original OFP key. Anyway, I can't understand how the heck they printed a wrong CD-Key in the manual, unless they accidently threw a original OFP manual in the GOTY box. It does have a very uncanny resemblance to my old OFP manual, except for the fact that it's not all beat up like the old one.

Well, ATI has new Catalyst 2.3 up on their website. I still get hard locks and flashing shadows in OFP (1.46 version) if I have Direct3D HW T&L enabled. Works great with just straight Direct3D.
