At what point does a war become a massacre?

I live in Fort Stewart, Georgia. My Dad's in the Army (3rd Infanry Div (Mechanized) 3rd Battalion 64th Armor) and my brother in the Navy (serves on the USS Carr). There have been 34 KIAs in our small community and several hundred WIAs. BTW: I don't live in Fort Stewart now - I go to college in Atlanta, but my parents live there and I've spent a lot of time there with my mom during the war.

Thank you Bernadotte. I think syco's problem is unfortunately common among my countrymen. They make the mistake of thinking that patriotism is supporting your government. It is not. It is about supporting what's best for your country. Our founding fathers, the first patriots - Washington, Jefferson and Adams were not patriots because they supported their government. King George was their government! They supported their country against a government that was hurting it. Just because Bush loves to have his picture taken with the American flag does not automatically make him the best for this country. Now everybody is entiteled to their opinion but if you do not agree with your governement then it is not only your right but your duty to this country to make your voice heard.

    The Dogs of War

Both my father and my brother are in Iraq and I'm very worried about them. I live in outside Fort Stewart, Georgia and we are a small community here of mostly army families. So far I've heard of over 30 families here getting the dreaded visit from the DoD vultures. We're not a large community here and everybody is very worried and on edge. The news are not saying anything and the military is stonewalling everybody. I don't even know where my dad and brother are deployed.
