Hi everyone Ive beent trying to use a number of addons that I have previously used before, but for some reason when I try and Preview the mission an error message comes up saying "No entry 'modelspecial' does anyone know why this is happening? The addons are all extremely popular ones like UKF and BAS stuff etc. Would appreciate any help given

ok guys basically wot ive done is ive created a trigger which checks to see if a LAW soldier is dead. If he is, i want the group leader to tell a unit to take the LAW from him. What is the command to take a weapon?

Can i just add somethin in regards to the yellow waypoint boxes... these boxes can appear in the Editor, all you have to do is play a Single Mission First and then open the editor. For example if you load "Steal the Car" mission and then abort n go into editor, then all of the unit tags and waypoints should appear. -
ok, ive tried many ways to make a unit fire the kozlice. i tried unit fire ["kozlice","kozliceball"] - but it didnt work. Has anyone got any idea how you get a unit to fire this weapon?

no he isnt called unit, he is called "bartender", but ive been tryin out the commands with a Res Hunter. Yes the weapon is loaded. -

Ok, this is what i need I want a condition which checks to see if a unit has fired a flare within a given area. Tried a couple of things, such as got ammo...but the trigger is activated if the unit drops the flare. Help purlease

hi guyz, im just finishin part 1 of my mission pack and ive got a syntax in my description file. The purpose of it is to enable myself and my squad to have a number of weapons available to them. I also got a changing name syntax on there. Can some1 tell me what is wrong with this syntax. Ok guyz, im really disappointed wit myself how do i create a condition for a trigger which is only activated when all units in a specific group are dead. its somethin like squad1 (not alive_x) isnt it??? plz reply asap cheerz

Blimey! Dont forget the constant threat of a nuclear bomb ticking away and your daughter being on the run from an angry mad man...yes thats right and only Keither Sutherland can save the day!!! Hehe...its good though Thats one thing that always baffles me i can never think of a great scenario -
Ok, you know the little box in the bottom right of the screen which makes you swing your rifle on your back or get in a vehicle....? well... how do you add stuff to this? I know its possible just dont know how its done

Does anyone know how you get the smaller dialogue writing which is seen in Resistance??? Oh yeah and how do you do a line drop with the normal dialogue writing - its ./ or summot isnt it?

Ok, OFP is by far the best war sim ever! Completely kills crap such as Delta Force etc. However, these are some things that I think may need to be developed in OFP2. - firstly, I'd like to see the ability to roll when your in prone. Afterall its standard military practice to weave, drop and roll when you come under fire. - secondly, this sounds pretty lame but I'd like to see a bit of wildlife lol. A couple of sheep perhaps in a field or some birds or summot just do make stuff a little bit more real - thirdly, I think the ability to shoot out of the back of a 5t truck would be great! especially if your having to evac out of somewhere. (shooting out of the side of a Black Hawk or Huey would be cool to) - also I would like to see some divers and maybe some time delayed grenades. - Better blood and injury animations. In other words you shoot someone in the knee and they limp behind a wall or summot - Id like the ability to land on an aircraft carrier or LST or summot when i'm in a heli. - Finally id really like to see some propper mortars, (not the ones of the end of the rifle). Id like to see some propper artillery and propper mines (rather than having to script an explosion if a unit walks in a certain area) Just a few suggestions Â

OFP aint a spy game though really is it? I understand what you're all saying. An element of stealth etc are really good but Bond isnt really realistic is it? Maybe advanced Black-Op missions. I think the idea of stealing clothes and sneaking around like your Sam Fisher is great but lets be realistic? do you really want this in a WAR SIM??? Ofcoursenot, the ability to carry and drop bodies is a good idea which has been suggested but whatever happened to the satisfaction of shootin someone in the head????

trains???? Hmmm interesting, nonetheless if anyone has played DF2 then they will realise the potential for trains. Trains would be good to blow up! but thats about it. Going to the lunch carriage and smoking a pipe is a bit lame considering the context of OFP

arent we missing the whole concept of OFP being an infantry based simulation. What's with all the Navy stuff??? Quite Frankly, the only navy concept we need is maybe artillery fire or cruise missiles. Vietnam took place in the jungle not the sea, right?

I agree. I think most grunts wouldnt just sink to the bottom of the ocean. Maybe the terrain in OFP2 will have more rivers too

yeah, but theres only usually 8 - 12 men in a section. However I agree that it would be ace to be a platoon leader and have about 30 men at your disposal.
