Happy birthday pappy? Just 2 questions-how would I implement the old water textures and NVGs? Where can I dload them from? The newest beta got rid of them (probably because of DXDLL, I assume) but My comp can't run DXDLL-how would I bring back the old nvgs and water?

nice pack, but I'm not getting new patrol anims. I didn't do anything with the "new" directory-could that be the problem? What do I do with it? Pretty much all the anims in the second set of pics I don't have. EDIT: after reading the readme more closely some of the ones in the second set are mission editor animations. NM however, the patrol animation is still just the default BIS one.

man i must be dumb I can't find the man with the briefcase. EDIT-while looking for it stumbled upon the nickname and real name of the evil general. Can someone please pm with the location of the briefcase man?

Doesn't work on my geforce4mx, probably cause it doesn't have pixelshaders. It doesn't even start up, it just blinks and does nothing when i clikc the shortcut.

Anyone know how to run other mods with this without getting the configs corrupted (like run FDFmod and Y2k3 together). Would I have to rewrite the config?

That's a good one, but I like I said earlier I play tons of flightsims and those are in a different category. My top 5 favorite flightsims are probably: 1.Aces High 2.Il2 3.Jane's USAF 4. WWIIOL (even though it has a crappy fm) 5. MS flightsimulator

molotov cocktails...that just clicked something in my head...FDF has quite a few good opfor units I believe. They have a whole rebel/terrorist pack with their mod, not to mention somewhat disorganized "paramilatry" forces that can represent a generic army. Instead of having grenades they have molotov cocktails, which is what made me think of that

Shellshock is the term, and it is one of my favorite parts of the game. Another game that has been realistic RECENTLY...if anyone has played it within the past month or so is WWIIOL. This game had a bad start but is starting to shape up into a really nice game. Here's my top 5 only as far as first person shooters go (I play alot of flightsims like Il2, but those are a different category) 1. flashpoint 2.WWIIOnline 3.America's Army 4.Rainbow six III: Raven Shield 5. Call of Duty I'm sure there are more realistic games, but I've never played them. I think this is why bf1942 ended up on top, because like I said before it is voted by the community.

This is because the show filter is voted by the community on their websites. I hate that show, because all it really reflects are the current most popular games and not the real realistic ones. When I saw that episode i got pissed at myself, turned off the tv, and never watched that show again.

There is none-but there should be. Tonal is good for generic african forces, and the troublemakers pack is good for terrorists or something for police to chase, but there isn't really a complete opfor pack.

Generic opfor packs-I'm tired of fighting russians and I don't want to fight a specific country. See this thread.

I was thinking about the same thing. We need kinda generic terrorist packs, generic army packs...like in america's army. America's army has generic terrorists/countries for different kinds of maps.
