Im a Marine, and a friend of mine was on temporary duty where they use VBS for training and stuff. He couldnt tell me much about what they did in there cause you have to have a certain security clearance for that type of info. Although, he did show me a video that was he making by request of the 3rdLAR, to show how the simulated combat worked. He used OFP and not VBS to make this video. Was a short vid. of USMC LAV's, AAV's, and infantry units (all custom addons from the OFP community) atacking various enemies inside the city of Petrovice i think it was. He didnt say that he preferred OFP over VBS, but i thought it was kinda funny OFP is what he used.

I've never seen any pilots around here wearing MARPAT flight suits. Helmet covers MAYBE, cause I've seen the 3-color woodland camo on pilot's helmets before.

18, PFC, United States Marine Corps. Currently attending MOS School, Data Network Specialist Course out in beautiful 29 Palms, CA. i ran up mountains this morning at 0600 to watch the sunrise...it was awesome.

Well i believe that VBS1 is used for mental and decision making training in simulated battlefield environments. The Corps has many other real-life training techniques.

WOOHOO!!! I'll be in 29 Palms around the end of this year for MOS schooling. Can't wait to see it and try it out myself!

these units are very nice...love the car-15 and the sounds of it, m16 and saw. look fwrd to see someone come up with a couple test missions for these guys. i threw together a quickie on the mogadishu island using bib's african militian and had BAS's little birds swarming around.

just to the right of where it asks for username it asks "Want to Register" in English. Nick: Password: Retype Password: Email: Retype Email: the first 5 things it requests in the registration form.

hey is that mission not there anymore? I tried d/ling earlier and the servers were full, and i just went back and got an error saying that the file might not be there anymore.

i really love these addons. Does anyone have any more missions with them in it? I'd really like to see more.

the disadvantage with the increased hit points is multiplayer reasons to keep east and west balanced. I'd like to see this addon soon in an MTCO map :hint :hint

just curious but could u give an update soon on some of your Marine choppers? It's something i'd really love to see and use with all of Suchey's marines.
