So, its not possible for other addon-makers to make artillery, and have them in seperate pbo's, or am I missing something(I probably am).

Really, modern countermeasures would be pretty affective, so its probably realistic. I wish the flares/chaff would be unaffective on unguided missiles, like RPG, etc though.

This came out before JAM did. Â Personally, I absolutely LOVE the sounds, much better than JAM, though JAM's certainly not bad.

You could de-pbo voice.pbo in the DTA folder of your OpFlash directory, and make new sounds(.wss format), and overwrite the ones in one of the voice folders(like Adam, Dan, George, Greg, etc). Â You would probably have to play the sounds to see what is said before you could record yourself. Â Then you would select the name of whatever voice that is in the user options in OFP(the one's where you can like change your face, etc. Â Get to that by clicking on your username for OFP in the main OFP menu(I think it's in the upper left hand corner)). The most difficult part would probably be getting something to read/save wss's. THere isn't a codec @ dbPower amp's site, and Sound Forge can't open it(w/o any plug-ins atleast).

If I remember correctly just extract the pbo in OFP manager or Unpbo, etc. and then go to the folder in OFP Manager. RIght click in the .bin file, and select File, then Export to FIle. The default save directory is C:\OFPExport.

I don't really have any mod folders, except FDF and the like. If I get a memory map error(usually, I don't get memor-maps, I get D3D Out of vid. memory), I take a coupla big addons and just use Kegety's method of just extracting the stuff and putting the folder in your main OFP directory, then re-pboing w/ just cpp. It works well, and it isn't too particularly difficult, as long as you know how to un/re-pbo stuff. -

There's no button or anything that will like save a bmp, but you can use Fraps(http://www.fraps.com/downloads.htm, get the 1.9D), or just good ole Print Screen. BTW, this has been asked several time before, so next time you should probably search.

I always put addons in the regular addons folder(and use Res/Addons just for official stuff), but unforunately, many addons tell you to use Res/Addons. -

Are you sure the ATACMS is a cruise missile? Â I thought it basically had a ballistic trajectory. Â And think it actually does have bomblets. edit:http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/atacms.htm It'd be really cool to have in OFP, but I bet the minimum range is bigger than most of the islands for OFP are. And tactical nuclear warhead/chem weapons would be really cool. Especially somethin like atomic annie.

I think the only people who are/will be mod-makers are the people who got to use O2 before it was publically released.

Which way is your gun aiming in O2? Make sure you're viewing the left side of your gun(from the gunner's point of view) in the Front pane. In the top pane you should see the gun from the top, with the end of the barrel on the left.

In Powerslide's last pic though, there's part of a car that looks pretty nice just creeping on screen.... as if to taunt us.

There, ugh, is a readme. Â I don't see one. edit: OK, the one from OFP info has a readme, but the one from file front doesn't. edit2: the one from file front just has one pbo in it, LSR_vdv.pbo. that's a little odd edit3(after trying them): Very nice though, as has been mentioned before the white thing in the RPG is a problem. Â Also, it kinda seems that the RPGs are a little too accurate, in the sense that they drop very little over large distances. Â On the Mi-8, I've noticed that bullets can still hit the area where the rocket pods were, its probably not possible, but it would be nice if they wouldn't hit there. Â I personally really like the jpeg textures and inq.'s weapons, though I would like to see the bayonet thing(like strokegun) on the AKs w/ bayonets(it was in inquistitor's pack). Â Before I got inquistitors high detail weapons, I probably would have thought that paa/pac textures were good enough, but the beauty and level of detail that can be put into jpegs, just can't be achieved in paa's or pac's. Â Please keep the weapon's textures as they are. There's no reason why the community should be held back by people trying to run OFP on their old 386's edit4(going for the record here ): And no, I don't have some 3.2 ghz computer w/ a 256 meg card. I have a pretty modest system(2.66, 512 DDR, Radeon 9000 64 meg).

I'm sure they're great, but all I get is a modelSpecial error when I try to put them in a mission.

OK, I'll do that. It seems to work ingame, but I guess it might cause problems down the road. BTW, is it possible to have a muzzle flash on a rocket launcher? I have a flame, and it's named zasleh, but it shows up all the time. Thx for your help.

Edit: Nm, someone replied to my post @ OFPEC. In case anyone else has this problem, here's the thread http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse....d=13877 OK, the ammo from my config, just doesn't show up in game. Without satellites, we wouldn't have the wonders of modern communications, meteroligists woudn't have as much information to base their predictions on, etc, etc. Though, I do think we need to be doing bigger and better things with NASA, such as going back to the moon for a extended period, and eventually to Mars, both of which we really could do if we wanted to.

Just go in and attack the town in the rebel controlled area. Â Set up ambushes near the town, and when they arrive to "free" the town from you, ambush them. Â Then hold the civvies as hostages, they'll be released upon the surrender of the rebels.
