Just a small inquiry from me : what do you mean by "- fixed sonic crack"? Is it actually going to be any louder than what we get in vanilla ArmA (it sounds really weak to me) or is it just a different sound? (...or both? ) -

Same here, but I actually saw how he dies : I was waiting behind a rock for the officer to walk out on to the balcony ; he walked out after a few minutes, and stopped. I had him in my sights and was just about to put an unhealthy dose of lead through his head when I noticed he started moving (not actually walking, just moving sideways slowly, as if hovering), reached the end of the balcony, went through it and fell to his death... :/ Probably should be reported to BIS as a bug.

Hi again Predator I have a new suggestion which should be (AFAIK) easy to implement in the next version of your mod : since you seem to be concentrating mostly on replacing sounds for ArmA, why not add the "Harrier sound mod" to yours? I'm sure it's creator, Zeinger, is open to discussion It's more convenient IMO to centralise any sound replacements into one mod instead of several hundred -

Ok, still sounds better than the BIS default sound anyway If you have been in contact with the person who has made the battlefield mod, I'm sure you have interesting stuff you can learn from him (or from dsylescxy)!! Eerr... downloaded german version = illegal?? In any case, all versions will be the compatible after the 1.5 patch, which will be released in less than two weeks if I'm not mistaken. -

Sound much better to me... Still not as "impressive" as the one in those videos I posted but better than the original. Nice work! -

I remember having to wait a very long time the first time I played that mission (the game wasn't patched if i'm not mistaken). The second time I played I believe I killed five enemies and the mission ended seconds after the last one died (this time the game was patched). Possibly a bug where the last enemy gets stuck or something...

Nice work! Magazine looks a bit "out of place" though but that's just my opinion Still worth uploading though!

There's ONE change I would like to see next if possible... It's the supersonic "crack" you get when a bullet passes nearby, because the one BI has made doesn't sound authentic at all to me , compared to the one on these videos, which sounds much better. It's a great site by the way, and this page comes from a very interesting article (best of tactical gaming). If there was any way of getting the same sound as the one in the BF2 videos I think your mod would be complete -

Remember Flashpoint when it first came out? Full of bugs... I don't remember any performance issues but bugs certainly Anyway...got my uk version today (or yesterday or whatever) and it works fine. I had sound issues when I played the czech version on my laptop (relatively poor hardware) but on my main pc I have yet to encounter a performance issue. Whatever happens I can't think of a single reason NOT to buy ArmA. It's everything i was waiting for... In any case it's not what I'd call a BIG investment anyway

That sounds interesting Celery... Having no experience whatsoever in mission editing, I would really appreciate being able to play that mission of yours. I use a saitek x52 (but I'm still a noob) and I have found that flying a cobra is quite a challenge compared to all the other choppers : I often end up upside down or losing control alltogether... In other words I feel like trying to control a flying epileptic elephant on acid if that can give you a better idea (it seems urbanwarrior has the same kind of difficulty ) Any chance of you uploading that mission celery (please please please)? Any advice on chopper flying for noobs is also welcome...
