    Game doesn't load at all

Since the game won't load, I'm unable to install updates. I'm running v1.20 I believe. Apparently the game needs to load when you install updates? When I try to install the updates, the same thing happens, splash screen then nothing. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to change the agp aperture setting. I've never done it before on this computer, and it seems to have some unstandard way of accessing it. I've got a P4M800-M7A motherboard, but I don't have the manual. Edit: lowered agp setting as low as possible; effort in vain.

No luck. For troubleshooting reasons, I downloaded a no cd bypass/crack thing. It still didn't work, so the problem is not ASPI layer related. But thanks.

    Game doesn't load at all

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis doesn't load at all after displaying the splash screen. The executable recognizes the cd, but after the splash screen disappears nothing happens, no error or sound or anything. Everything just stops, as if I never attempted to load the game. I've done some troubleshooting of my own and narrowed the problem down a bit: I've downloaded the demo. The demo DOES work. I've used an alternate CD drive; neither work. I've installed it on a different computer; it DID work, so the CD is fine. I've disabled the sound card before loading; sound hardware is not an issue. I've updated all my video and chipset drivers. The part that confuses me most is that the demo works? I have a Pentium D 840 with 768 meg of ram Sound Blaster X-fi Radeon X800 pro graphics
