    This has got to be the best thread.  I'm not complaining, as I've only been enjoying this fine sim for about a month.  I'm learning from other shooters, who have the time to point out a target, or objective.  I feel I've been kicked off,from different servers. because my ping is to high, or that I had more kills than the locals who know each other.  It would be wise to accept new players, even though some of them can shoot your ass, as you camp behind a tree, or cheat.  You must expect new players from time to time, as this is a superior game, with alot of challenges.  Again, thanks to the few who have pointed out a target, that they knew about, from playing the same battle over and over.  I'm sure you all started out parking yourself on the ground, and not moving from your spot. As I visit other sites, I'm amazed at the different attitudes (friendly vs. snobs) that I see.  While the multiplayer aspect is satisfying, it could use quite a bit of improvement.

    Very informative threads.  I'm new at this fine game, so I really don't have much right to beef.  I feel very guilty with my 56K modem, but I also see alot of other players with much higher pings than me.  Guess I just want to the game run smooth, with what I have.

    Greetings.  I've been enjoying OFP multiplayer for about a month now, played some excellent scenarios, and generally had a pretty good time, while still learning the ropes.  My first question is...is it normal to fire several burst into another player(I see the blood hits) only to have the player turn, and kill me?  Than the player runs along his merry way.  I have a 56K modem, but the other players had about the same ping.  I hate to mention the word "cheat", but these were all good hits.  On one occasion, I emptied my whole clip, which he was killed at the end of my fireing.  I've had OFP since the day it came out, so I know how to play it.  I want to continue to enjoy it, on-line.  Are there cheaters playing these games?  Next question.  Are there any servers in the Chicago area? or the USA for that matter?
