I'm about ready to call it quits with tring to setup a server for my clan. Buddy of mine has a dual p111 1 gig server with 2mb up and 2 down. We have major lag problems and now tonight its like fade is activated on the server. I tried to use the machinegun in the nest and I can barley aim it or keep it in one spot. Also a clan member all of a sudden cant control his player. Some peps have no problems others have major problems. We all have legit bought copies of the game. The only thing I can figure is. Heres what I did. Sorry BIS if i did a no no. Thing is the guy dont play games so I wan't going to by another game to run a server when i thought you didnt need the cd in the drive or a serial to run a deticated. I copied all the files from my original cd and a serial number I found on the net burned it to a cd. and had him install it. Then I had him patch it with no-cdupdatespatches to get it to 1.46. Setup the conifg and flashpoint.cfg download the 1.46 deticated server zip installed those files and lauched the server. And thats how it sat ever since. BUt it seems like there is FADE running on the server. IS this possable? the 1.46 deticated server patch said you dont need cd or serial. Plz help this server thing is becoming more of a headache than its worth.
