is it possible to change between respawn types. Was thinking in away where you can add and remove the staging area. So when the staging area is active players will respawn there. but when it isnt active they will respawn where they are killed??

Oki. But im kinda new to the scripting thing. But i will have to have some kind of camp.sqf to create the backpack head and to add the action to make this point to staging point right??

I noticed this line In the newly released german community preview of arma 2. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=5371 I remember that before the Arma 1 release there was a lot of discusions about securom, because back then it was also going to be the protection software used with the game. But after a lot of negative respons from the community it was dropped, or at least for the euro release. So was thinking are there still the same problems with securom that there where back then?? (making pc slower etc.)

But the choice back then was securom, which then make it the negative one. So why try it again instead of choosing another method like steam as an example??

This is from the german preview. Are there still as many problems with securom as there where before the arma 1 release?? Was just wondering since there was a very big discusions about it back then resulting in going away from securom because people talked about boycutting the game. Also if they want to protect it more then why not go for steam. Seems there are no problems with steam and more and more bigger games are going for steam. -

I asked about the vehicles on the ofrp's forum. And they are waiting for arma 2. So no vehicles for arma from them. -

i just asked a question to something that was writen in one of the post And found the answer myself but then got flamed since its apperently are well know info for brits which vehicles the danish SF are buying but not for people in the danish forces and people who are interested in them

I actually know a lot about the danish forces Anyways just showed it to a friend and my cousin who both are active in the army. And who have been in iraq and afghanistan and none of them had seen it before. So not just me In iraq and the first deployments in afghanistan the SF used special built hummers.

to my knowledge danes dont use either land rovers or the MWMIK??? [Edit] Strangly enough i did a google and found a single picture of two that must be on test. i dont think they are fielded anywhere. if yes it must be SF since the "normal" units use mercedes GD and mowag piranhas and eagles

Looks good. Almost the complete list Sorry if you saw it as sarcastic or rude. Wasnt meant to be. As i said there havent been videos of all so could be that you would release in stages or that there would be a release of the ones shown in videos with thet others as a release bonus.

About the name tapes. Look at the lower front part of the fragvest. It has your player name there as standard. If thats not what you meant forget this post Â

About the chopper taxiing. In the airport that i work there was a helicopter service some time ago. They wasnt allowed to just fly in and land and i dont think they where able to taki around on the ground. So what they did where flying a couple of meters above the ground. So worst case if you really wanna taxi around. Put on autohover, lift a couple og meters, and follow the taxiways around

Would it be possible to get a estimated minimum computer requirements for Arma II?? Im asking because im thinking about buying a new laptop since the one i got now can only just play Arma. And since it isnt that easy to upgrade a laptop it would nice to have a estimate so i wont end up in the same situation with the release of Arma II. I know the game isnt finished and all but you must have some idea on what the requirements will be. Hope you can help

Hi Kilroy Great work with the evolution maps. My friends and me are really enjoying the maps. But i have a question/problem. On the blue sahrani map we have multiple times cleared paradiso but we dont get the message that we have cleared it or the marker on the clipboard. And then after a couple of minutes infantry and vehicles start respawning again and its all over again. Even though we have destroyed the antenna and got the message about it (but not the marker on clipboard). We have patrolled and cleared the city from both air and ground and killed all again and again and the same thing happends. We didnt have that problem in the earlier version of evolution. So have parameters for taking a city changed or what are we missing to clear the city?? Hope to get some feedback Best Regards Dkraver
