ok i haven't had that problem only with 1.3. have you tried uninstalling BUT the going to where you installed the game (C:/program files/codemaster/flashpoint). DELETE THIS DIRECTORY AND START AGAIN. AND ONLY INSTALL PATCHES OF 1.20 and then 1.30 don't install unofficial files or any other add ons as i had trouble with them

oh thats strange it should work, mine does its just with version 1.3. have you tried uninstalling and then goinf to C:\program files\codemasters and then deleted operation flashpoint and start again. it may fix your problem m8

goto the AMD site and read there support pdf file. it states that normal running temp is expected at 60-65 degrees C.

is any1 at all have this exit to windows, i have only recently had it in MP at the moment, i thinks its a bug in 1.3. Any1 else had this trouble?

is this happening on all patches or just 1.3 because with patch 1.3 i have had problems where the game just exits back to the desktop

i have a problem with this patch where every so often it will crash out of the game straight back to the windows desktop. this is using version 1.3, all the other versions i didn't experience these problems. HELP

Yes i do have an AMD ATHLON processor that runs at 1.2 ghz. but as well it usually runs at about 58 degrees C but on 3d games it rises. the highest i have seen it is 65 degrees C. i thought that maybe this was too high but i emailed AMD and said whether it should be that high and they told me that 65 degrees is a normal temperature for this speed processor. it can go up to 95 degrees C before malfunctioning or melting. my Chassis temperature is usually around 30 - 35 degrees C. but also as i said, this kind of error does not happen with any other game i have and it didn't happen with this until i updated to version 1.3!. Any IDEAS? it also sometimes after being on 10 mins or so, it will simply exit straight back into Windows. why is this patch doing this? surely a patch is meant to fix problems not create them! HELP!

i don't think its overheating cause i have a system monitor that will beep if it goes above 75 degrees. it hasn't so what could it be

for starters you don't need to put patch 1.10 on if u are installing 1.2 cause 1.2 can update from 1.0. Try this and see if it resolves your problem. it probably won't but its worth a try.

thats the thing i have windows ME, but it only crashes like this on version 1.3. i never had the trouble with 1.2 or the Beta patches. please someone out there HELP!!

please help, with version 1.3 every so often it will just crash with a blue screen saying "windows exception error". i have to reboot after this the whole comp that is. Please help
