I have no unofficial addons and should have more than enough memory and disc space as the only game I'm running is OFP. 256ram should be enough although i appreciate my processor (duron 800) isn't fantastic these days it runs the game ok.

No, no forewalls or anything else. I've checked avon ladys page on firewalls, although it mentions session lost I cant actually see a cure or fix for it.

thanks for that but I use direct play the same as everyone else, I also double and triple checked that I was using the correct port (the same one as everyone else). But i will check that page at avon ladys site. Any other suggestions??

I've been playing OFP on line for some time without any problems, however since upgrading to 1.75 resistance I cannot connect to any MP game. I get as far as connecting and can see some conversation then get kicked back to the game lobby with the message session lost. With some friends I reconnected with 1.46 and could connect and play ok with no problems but as soon as I revert back to 1.75 i get session lost. Before on 1.46 session lost meant the server had crashed, this is not the case as everyone else can play quite happily. I run a duron 800 system with geforece 2 32mb card 256 mb memory and 60gig hd at 7200rpm, i play with a 56k modem (ambient ham drivers I think) i have the latest drivers for everything and do not run a virus check or firewall. anyone help please?? I've searched the forum and avon ladys FAQ but can't find a similar problem but speaking to people on line I know others have experienced it. cheers

I've just joined a new squad and have changed my name within OFP, I have deleted my old identity and removed the appropriate folders from the users file. However, when I start OFP it seems to find my old identity and defaults to it even though I've deleted it from everywhere. I can't start an online game with my new identity. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I've been away from the multiplayer scene for about a month, I use the ASE and the codemasters chat page but it seems to me that very few people are playing this game online anymore. Most of the servers on ASE are empty and the chat page doesn't seem to work properly. Have I missed something? Where is everybody?

I'm with NTL WORLD and I usually play with pings of around 200 even though my connection speed ranges from 36-45bps

The forums been broken for almost two weeks, no one seems to be doing anything about it, and this thread is about to get closed by placebo. Its a shame because its a good community which has helped me many times and if this goes on any longer it will just fade away.
