  1. Hello everyone ! After my previous message, the game was significantly better, however, I still crashed here and there, and thought to fix the problem completely. Now, I'm really not a pro at this, but I noticed in the RPT's that the cause of the crash was 99% of the time caused by "XAudio2_7.dll", at least for me. And I found a fix that solved my crashing completely, and for good. Turns out the "Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" makes the dll crash, (somehow?) and you need to deactivate that service. To do so: -Open task manager -right click service management tools -find "Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" -Right click it and open properties -General tab -> Startup type then set it to "disabled" -> Apply. Lo and behold, Arma 3 never crashed again for me. Please note that I also had more crashes if 2 audio sources were active on my PC, for exemple: both my headset and screen were active, make sure only one is active, the game doesn't like multiple sound sources for some reason. I don't know if anyone is gonna read this, but please let me know if it helped !
  2. Hello everyone, first time I comment on these forums, simply because this thread helped me a lot, I wish to help people back. I've had a lot of issues fixing this error, but I did manage to do so. Now, because it is hard to pinpoint what is going wrong, I thought it'd be helpful to come out here and say what did work for me, maybe it will help people suffering from this error or even narrow down what can be the cause of it. I will try to provide any and all info you ask of me regarding the error, I still have the report_logs saved so maybe it will help people who know their stuff pinpointing what the issue was and why it fixed my game. Please note, i'm really no computer hack, I'm just your average gamer who just likes to enjoy games, but I will try to reply as fast as I can. there are 3 simple things that really fixed it for me, and I have no explenation as to why, and I have no idea which modification made the game work again, even modded: -Running the launcher as admin -Running the launch parameter "-malloc=system -maxMem=16384 -cpuCount=6 -exThreads=7" -And putting all of my in-game video options back to "Default" (My game has FPS drops when in heavy fighting/modded situations but at least it doesn't crash) Please feel free to ask for any info I can provide, I'd love to help as this thread helped me too.
