Well I am getting nowhere fast. The Ctl+Win keys do not show anything. I have mods labeled 'ace' and 'Advanced Combat Environment' loaded. I have 'ace3_3.14.1' in Arma 3 folder as '@ace', and 'acex_3.5.4' as '@acex'. I assume I am missing something to do with ace.

Thanks KNlGHT, I'll give it a try today.

I'm not using Ace. I cannot use a bandage in the inventory so it gets dropped to the ground. All I can do then is pick it up. Whoops I am wrong I do have ace mod loaded which points to ace3. I am playing the Bunker mod and it's nice, but I keep dying trying to get out of the bunker.

I don't get the action on the menu. Should the kit be dropped on the ground first?

EO, I didn't know about the other one call 'Ambient Animals - Chernarus Redux' until now. Which one should be used? UPDATED: I still have no animals. I unchecked all DLCs and Mods. Then checked only 'Arma 3 Animals Module - Extended'. Started the Revenge senario and no animals. Then tried 'Ambient Animals - Chenarus Redux'. with its dependencies. Started the Revenge senario and no animals.

I just tried this mod and I have not noticed any animals. Am I doing somthing wrong?

Over at the Steam cummunity 'Nitrous' mentioned that if you do not have a 'continue.Arma3Save' file for a game that you can rename one of the other save files. example: this 'save2.Arma3Save' becomes this 'continue.Arma3Save'. I have been getting the below error message when starting up the game. No DLCs nor Mods are checked. Game is set for the default. error message: addon 'a3_data_f_aow' requires addon 'a3_data_f_oldman_loadorder'. I press OK and the game continues to load without any more problems. Also after the game loads there is no 'oldman' anything, however there is an 'oldman' folder in the Arma 3 folder where the game is installed. Is there a way for force Arma 3 to update or repair? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Well I awkwardly found a way through Steam to verify all the files. Supposedly fourty files were fixed, including Oldman. No errors now. Joy!

I know about the 'mouse wheel' and 'mouse middle button click' menus, but I had forgoten about the grave '`' menus.

Under Senarios when pressing PLAY nothing happens. No messages of any kind show. Examples: Force Through - Cam Lao Nam (SP/MP) Direct Action Vietnam - Khe Sanh Insurgency Vietnam Macv-Sog Ops Red Squadron Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to Gunter Severloh and Harzach for solving some of my Steam mod issues. However I do have one more. I download from the following url Vietcong Intro and four missions. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1377037194&searchtext=Vietcong The Intro and Missions 3 & 4 do nothing ... no errors. Missions 1 & 2 work. Update; I was able to fix Missions 3 & 4 with another required mod. However the Intro refuses to work. lol Got it! I now understand more on how to solve Arma dlc/mod problems. Everything seems to be working okay now. It's time to have some fun. Thanks again everyone!

Harzach, you solved another problem that I had with Sullen Skies, I had to Subscribe, there are two part to it, I was missing one. Thanks.

On starting the game I still get the error: [addon 'sullen skies' requires addon 'vn_khe_sanh_data'] before the Arma menu screen shows. I tried to run Direct Action Vietnam - Khe Sanh again, and I didn't get an error this time, just a light blue screen under the Senario list All the mods are updated. I need to find the file 'vn_khe_sanh_data'. I am stupid! I unloaded all mods and checked the DLC 'S.O.G. Prairie Fire' and the Direct Action senarios work! I have one more problem that I will try to solve, if not, I'll list it later. Thanks very much for your help!

On starting the game I now get the error: [addon 'sullen skies' requires addon 'vn_khe_sanh_data'] before the Arma menu screen shows. After the Arma menu screen show and the menu at the top shows to play whatever, I get the message: [no entry 'bin\config.bin\Cfgweapons.vn_m16'] When trying to play: Direct Action Vietnam - Khe Sanh => now shows the monster error: [steam\__cur_sp.vn_khe_sanh\mission.sqm\Mission/Entities/Item4/Entities/Item.1.type:vehicle class Land_vn_tent_mash_01 not longer exists]

Saving situations works fine, but after leaving the game and coming back to resume a mission pressing resume does nothing. No updates have taken place either. Any ideas? Fixed NOT! Saves are shown under Arma 3 under documents but are not shown/used in the game when Resuming. The switches in Steam & Arma 3 seem to have no affect. Even when putting the '*.sbo' files in E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Missions, still do not show up in the game. I made a little c# program using VS2019 to help fix the 'resume' issue. I thought I would share it. I have used it successfully many times. Hopefully it will work for you too. There are some images at gitbub and my 'Arma3SavesLister.rar' file. I use Winrar for packing and unpacking files. I list the game folders and their files within into a grid. Under most circumstances there is a file that can be used to fix the 'resume' problem. The program allows renaming and deleting files. My O/S is Windows 10 Prof 64 bit. I tried foure different night vision mods and none work. They all show a greenish blob in the center of the screen. What is the magic required to get a night vision mod to work?

Finally got NV using ACE. Otherwise cannot see anything at night.

I noticed that I was missing @ace_compat_sog. I'll do some repairs and see what happens.

I just started playing A3. When in Steam and selecting a mod or dlc then going into the game to select a campaign or scenario, etc and then continuing into the game the mods or dlcs don't show. I have them checked in steam a3. Example I have Unsung checked and going into the game to play it it does not show up.
