Sup,
Since Tac-Ops was announced I always imagined I would get to play with larger scale tactical play in singleplayer Arma. It ended up being a great DLC but not what I expected. It focused much more on the small team. To compensate I have created a working concept that allows the player to take control of more than one team and switch between their leaders. This uses ArmA's high command and team switch features to be integrated seamlessly into the mission. I really liked how my first mission "Blacked out" turned out. You can set one team to scout from afar and provide fire support, another to fly a drone over the target and have the main force attack, this is all at the same time!
It allows each mission to be completed in so many different ways and gives the player more control over the course of the mission. You can anticipate new encounters and resolve them with each of the teams in your disposal. While the first mission is pretty simple and small scale, I can see this concept becoming bigger and incorporating larger scale battles. It has the option to add fire support teams, armored platoons and bring the player's control to a massive battlefield.
So without further ado, here is the first mission in the series:
Blacked Out

A USAF satellite crashes on Malden. The first police force at scene has lost contact. Your objective is to investigate what happened to the force. Scout, coordinate and execute a mission with three different teams. Use your resources and assess new encounters.

Of course I would like all the feedback you can give, both positive and negative. I want to learn how to better my missions and provide a more fun experience to the game. I'm actively working on new missions and improving the scripting. If you want to help me in any way feel free to contact me!
