Arma Toolbox for Blender - Arma 2/3 exporter script
grillstern666 replied to Alwarren's topic in ARMA 3 - COMMUNITY MADE UTILITIES
Hi Alwarren, thx for your feedback - did not expect it to be so fast 😉 The thing is, i am currently working on my deerisle map (https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1602372402) for dayz. Here i got around 400 of custom (unbinarzied) objects i converted via blender - thx to your great blender toolsuite. I just got curious in how to get a complex Modell (maybe with around 8-12 proxies) to one single one while aligning all sub-objects correctly. PS: Do you have a paypal for little support donation? PPS: ...but if it doesnt work for now its ok 😉 -

Hi, is it possible to make proxies visible within blender when placing? Or: What is the best way to allign Objects properly when using them as proxies? (Just as a visible triangle is bit annoying when you want to try to arrange the sub proxies to their correct positions but dont see the mesh) ?! -
How to get a preview of placeable Objects (.p3d) in Terrain Editor before placing them?
grillstern666 posted a topic in ARMA 3 - BI TOOLS - GENERAL
Hi, Is there an easy way to see btw. get a preview pic of placeable obejcts in Terrain Editor? The Problem is, in TE you only got a list of them without any quick preview and you have to place them in the world first before you can see them. It so time consuming to insert every Object in the world, just to see what it is looking like. I thought, "hey i just open the .p3d files in ObejctEditor to get a quick preview of them", but OE does not show you previews of binarized files. Any good idea for me? (without using EDEN) thx
