  1. Evening USAF Mod Team!! The updates are amazing, f*cking well done. The actual F-35A wings and the fix for the LOD geometry make me so damn happy I could cry.

    Oddly, when I have the Utility aircraft mod loaded I get the "Lights Initializing" notification at the bottom left when starting a mission. Honestly not really a big deal, just kind of an annoyance for filming as the message last 76 years for some reason. lol. Any way we can omit this message in a config somewhere, by chance? If not, not a big deal whatsoever. Thank you guys so much for your continued hard work! This was a hell of an update.

    Edit: I'm plugging and playing with mods to make sure it's not a fault on my end, if so I will edit this message again for a disregard update. lol

    Best way I've found thus far is to start the mission with the AI fighters as your wingmen, go into their Actions menu (should be option 6 after selecting both AI) through the commands bar and hit "Afterburner On" when they get up to speed. Then open Zeus and ungroup them from you so when they use radio chat the chat doesn't appear in the footage you're trying to get. I've been trying to find a script to just enable the afterburner in the init field on missions start but haven't had any luck.

    Ha, glad you enjoyed. Thank YOU guys so much for your hard work and dedication to the USAF mod. I'm goin on 9 years of active duty USAF so, uh, yeah, Air Force mod is kinda my shit.

    Thank you all again for your continued work, can't wait to showcase more of your awesome mod. (Also I suck ass for forgetting to include that awesome service menu feature that took a long time to develop I'm sure)

  4. Some of yall requesting updates/aircraft/changes/additions clearly have zero idea how much goes into creating these mods.

    My hat is off to Fuller, Raynor and the rest of the team for all this impressive work. Thank you guys, these are hands down some of the best mods in Arma 3's history. Crazy excited for whats ahead (when its ready). Take yalls time, we'll be waiting.

  5. Is anyone else having an issue where the afterburner option doesn't appear in the menu? Its happening to all of my FIR aircraft for some reason. I even unloaded ALL mods except CBA_A3 and the jets themselves, still no afterburner option once I hit enough speed like it did previously.

    Also, Firewill, any chance an automatic afterburner (like F/A-18E and Su-35) is in the works for your aircraft? I know it takes a lot of coding, so if its not feasible that's ok. It would just be an awesome addition 🙂

  7. Hey yall, not sure if some of you guys were having issues with the vehicles not firing one you start the playback or not. I had the issue, and found that if I put an AI in the aircraft (in this instance I was using Firewill's F-16C) then the jet would move with engine on, but the canopy wouldn't close and the wheels wouldn't come up.

    I put an AI pilot in there, then hit the radio script to begin the playback, and it worked. He took off, wheels went up, he flew realistically like I had flown and recorded, and he dropped all 6 MK-83s in a badass little attack run, then landed. My issue right now is on the landings... the AI doesn't know he's landing, haha. So he actually hits the ground a little and THEN the wheels pop out, but he's an inch from death lol. Anyone know a fix to this? I tried giving the AI a LAND waypoint that was basically enacted the whole time he was flying my route, then hopefully would activate when he was inbound to land on the runway the same way the AI do.

    Another tidbit, the AI in aircraft only throttle up the engine if they're taxiing on a path they would NORMALLY taxi on if there was no playback running. Odd, huh?


  8. Afternoon gents. So I'm trying this same exact method, putting the script on a flagpole (multiple flagpoles for multiple teleport locations). My problem is is that I keep getting teleported to the corner of the map into the ocean.

    I've checked and rechecked all the teleporter names, and even deleted all of them to try just between 2 points and nothing. Still teleports me into the ocean. Any idea why or any experience with this issue? Any help is much appreciated!
