    What is it that make's this game so unique?

    I'd say for OFP: Resistance that it has by far the best campaign of the series in terms of story; I keep coming back to it almost 2 decades later. OFP and ArmA II are my favorite of the series; not a fan of the tropical scifish stuff in ArmA 3 at all; I like the realistic Cold War setting much better.

    OP you're spot on; ArmA 3 runs like garbage; however, this is par for the course since Operation Flashpoint. With an i7 7800X@4.8Ghz, 32GB RAM, and a 2080Ti same story as with 5930K/1080Ti. Also SSD, whether PCIE SSD, M2, or SATA and 32GB of RAM make 0 difference.
  3. Ok, tried that; no effect. RHS mods and CUP mods which are not dependent on CBA work fine, but CBA itself still gives the error if loaded in the mods or by itself.
  4. CBA subscribed today and it is 100% preventing the game to launch if it is loaded; tried with another mod not dependent on CBA and the game launched fine. Error is: 0xC0000005 -STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at AC57FA70 Version 1.98.146303 Fault time: 2020/04/16 13:37:40 Fault address: AC57FA70 00:AC57FA70 Unknown module

    It still runs like ass on newer PCs; been playing this series since OFP, they always run like crap. i7 7800X@4.8Ghz/GTX 1080Ti/PCIE SSD/32GB 3200Mhz RAM, i7 6850K@4.5Ghz/NVME SSD/RTX 2080Ti/32GB RAM , i7 6700/SSD/GTX 980Ti/16GB RAM , i7 4770K@4.3Ghz/SSD/Vega 64/16GB RAM- they ll can barely maintain 30 FPS once the shooting starts with anything above Platoon size on the screen. ArmA 2 still runs like garbage as well.
