I open the launcher, press play. I go through the splash screens, and get to the main menu. What happens there varies slightly each time.
Usually, it works normally for about a second or two, before freezing- often by the time my cursor is over one of the options. At that time, it simply stays frozen- not even crashing and providing me with a crash log/error report of some kind. I'm then forced to open the task manager and close Arma 3.
Other times, I'm able to maybe actually get to one of the options. I was able to get to the showcase section and play the 'Infantry' showcase to completion, with average performance. I've not been able to do that again since. After finishing that mission, I tried another of the showcases to see if it would stay working. It froze, and I had to open the task manager again.
