If you still get the same error at this point please try to manually set the BE Launcher in your game directory (usually the executable file with “_BE” at the end) to run with administrative privileges (normally this should happen automatically). To do so right-click on the BE Launcher executable, choose “Properties”, go to the “Compatibility” tab, check the “Run this program as an administrator” option and click OK to apply your changes.

I have tried everything suggested outside of the above suggestion as I don't know what you mean by battleye launcher.exe as the only file i can find close to this is the BELauncher.ini and you can't set the ini to run in administrator mode.

All other battleye files are set to run as admin with no luck still.

As for the BE support with the link, there is no links on the provided page for win 10 only win 8 and older

Sadly still trying to work out the issue.

  2. I require some assistance. So 7-8 months I moved to an apartment in Canada and ever since I have been unable to join any Arma 3 servers with battleye getting the error Battleye Initialization Failed. I have tried all the "Fixes" I could find on the internet to the point of reinstalling windows to no avail. The one issue that I have come across is when people tell me to go to the local files and delete the battleye file, there is no file there even with all hidden files showing (Might be causing the issue)

Just for reference, it worked on the same computer before I moved.

My assumption is that my apartments network is somehow messing with the anti-cheat and if this is the case I am completely unable to play any Arma 3 server with battleye again until I move.

    Fixes i have tried

    -Verify game cache

    -Reinstall game

    -reinstall WINDOWS

    -updated game drivers

    -I don't have an anti-virus

    -uninstall and reinstall battleye

    -Apartments internet was restarted

-changed player account (grasping at straws at this point)

Please send help I've been without my favorite game for around 8 months and can't take it!

PS. I contacted BE Support and they where no help at all

This is from the BattleEye support site (https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/):

I am getting kicked for the following violation(s). I don’t use hacks, so what can I do to resolve this?

    BattlEye initialization failed

First of all, please ensure that BE is properly installed for your game. You can manually install it by following the instructions on the download page. If that doesn’t help there might be a problem with your file permissions. To fix this please go to “C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\[game name]” (make sure that you can see hidden files/folders if you can’t find this directory) and delete the BattlEye folder there. If the issue still persists your system’s root certificates might be broken/corrupted. To fix them download and install the following update from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2813430.

Perhaps this will solve your problem?

No tried this still doesnt work

  4. Hey just looking for some help. I am looking to get back into arma3 but cannot join any servers with battleye because of this error Battleye initialization failed.

    Things i have tried

    -Deleting and reinstalling arma 3

-verify the integrity of game cache

-delete battleye service arma3 and reinstall it

-run game without battleye (got kicked from server because it requires battleye running)

    -Disabled virus protection

I'm at a loss and i really want to get back into arma if anyone can give me a hand that would be greatly appreciated
