Thank you, as soon as I posted that a solid one hour later I got a deal on a GTX 1060 6GB for 275, had to make it 290 cause I'm impatient 2 day delivery, and my great grandparents gave me $25 for my birthday(cough cough the perks of being a kid you old hags cough cough). Anyhow, going to get that and I've already ordered everything else besides the ram, thank you people for the advice. Finished my PC last Saturday, and everything is running great.

Alright I'm nearly done with my parts however it appears the rx 570 8gb is on sale for 230, (The armour msi version) should I go with this instead of a gtx 1060 6gb, which is around 100 more? (Everything else is bought and shipping besides this and my ram.) rx 580 8gb is also going for 320 so is it better just to get the 1060 6gb or??

I'm looking at the comparison between the i3-8350k(saw going for $115) and i7-6700k($220) and the i3 is better according to the comparison site, I'm also trying to buy off of Reddit too which will drop the price some. Just under 1200, and maybe I can get a solid deal on 16gb of 3000mhz+ ram, usually it's 30-70 cheaper on Reddit for 16gb ram. And what case would you recommend, have the nzxt elite case selected but any other ones you'd recommend for around the same price?

But do you think I could cutdown on anything else to make the price less expensive?

Actually looking on Reddit and finding some good deals, might be able to snag a 7700k for $240. Most 6700k's are $220-.

Football starts in a week, and school is still happening so I won't be able to get a job. Football is after school 3-5 for offseason practice, and all the jobs near me are 4-10, and I have never weeded or edged in my life. I'm trying to use Reddit to find things off, so as a start will 8gb be fine or see if I can go to 12gb, because anything will be an upgrade probably over my gt 650m and i7 3840qm, currently have a laptop so it's a bit of a downer. And how much of a difference in fps is a 1600 MHz from 3200+ Or 3200 and 2400.

The thing is, is I won't be able to get money for at least 3 ish months, for footballs practice is going to be starting. And my budget is now $1200. Finding good deals on Reddit is what I'm trying to do.

Also buying parts off of reddit so it should be cheaper, was suggested to do this, and I tend to probably upgrade everything in the next year or two, depending on how work ends up happening. As I'm still just a good ole teen and don't have to worry about bills yet, might as well try and get some fun things with the money. I'm not good at all with Motherboards, I was just doing as you asked. Anyhow, what about fans? Should default 3x 120mm fans be good enough? Speed for the default is 1000 +/- 200 rpm. Azza Hurricane is 800-1800 rpm.

I know you said that, however Tankbuster stated that Gigabyte is his preference, who do I believe, the contradictions. For now, I think I'll stay with the ASUS PRIME Z370-P, and then upgrade it further down the line.

@Tankbuster For the fans would you recommend I upgrade them to a Raidmax NV-R120B 120mm or a Azza Hurricane 120mm? Or keep them as they are.

For now, I tend to keep at 16GB and upgrade in the future. CPU Cooling is the Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 240mm.

Sup, been playing Arma since 2016, can't run any Mods due to a 5 year old laptop, and plan to get a PC next month which is good news for me. Bad news to my money though.

Are you talking to Hase or me? What would you recommend currently for me to upgrade currently on the specs I've said. Also, this is just for the monitor but should I save money and keep at a 60Hz since it won't effect Arma gameplay and upgrading to the 144Hz monitor cost quite a penny more. I'm perfectly fine with a 30-60FPS Frame rate using mods. Currently have a 20-30 FPS on my Laptop and have been playing like that. 500 GB WD Blue SSD is the SSD with 1TB of Seregate I plan to use currently as a start out, and will upgrade in the future. Don't plan to buy everything until around a month to month and a half from today.

Should I focus on getting a 144HZ or a 60HZ for Arma 3? Both ones I have found are 1MS. The Sceptre E248W-19206C LED Monitor for 60HZ, or the ASUS VG248QE LED 3D Monitor for 144HZ. Aside from the monitor, is everything else looking fine? Changed the PSU to what y'all stated. Staying at the i7-8700k so I don't have to worry about upgrading that for awhile.
