  1. In other words you were implying that single thread performance does not matter in regards to arma 3 performance. You are being ignored now for spreading fud.
  2. Here's the quote. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you are trying to say, but it seems like you are suggesting that single thread performance does not matter.
  3. This doesn't seem accurate at all.
  4. If Arma 3 performance was a major reason for choosing your parts then switching to ryzen would not benefit you. Faster ram will benefit you more with intel as well, but an overclocked i7 7700k with fast ram is probably the best cpu for arma 3 right now.

Insane stuttering makes the game unplayable

I had the same issues when my windows 10 would default to balanced mode a while back. Have you tried setting windows to performance mode in settings, and also your gpu to performance? Sometimes something simple like zooming and spinning a full 360 in game helped me.before. Maybe play around your launch parameters, and/or lower your draw distance like the other posters suggested. Anyway good luck.
  6. Why blame AMD, or BIS for anything? People in this thread already confirmed that arma 3 runs well on ryzen.

    Yet Another Arma Benchmark

Pentium g4620 gtx 1060 6gb ddr4 2400 10-12-12-28 (16gb 2x8gb) m.2 sata 3 ssd (256gb) Windows 10 32/64 pro Power Settings: High Perdormance with game mode on Parameters enabled: 64bit cpu count: 2 extra threads (file, texture, geometry) hyper threading enabled video memory: 6144 no logs Intel allocator yaab results (vsync off): 27.0/30.6fps on ultra settings to 36.6/42.9fps on low settings
  8. Are you pressing the "S" key when prompted to while running the benchmark? YAAB shows "standard settings" on the top right corner in gold under "Frames" whenever I end the benchmark with standard settings enabled. (It will also still show "standard settings" in gold when I run the benchmark with standard settings enabled and set a static camera in a safe area away from the action (+384% improvement in fps if I do this).
