The AI seem to do fine with bridges on Altis, and ones put there by editor, as well as those in some custom maps.

For those who purchased via BI please go to your steam library, then on the bottom left of your window you should see + ADD A GAME... Click on that, activate a product on steam, insert the code given to you via the BI email that was sent after your purchase of APEX via their site.

I actually do it with all my mods normally too to fix issues, it's never effected them at least for me. But don't do it if you don't feel like it's worth it.
