NATO Joint Operations Public Update Overview Public Servers Friday Night Events New Mods Public Servers After a short time of development, we are proud to announce that our public server will be indeed returning for good now. Along with our new public server we now have a 24/7 MSO server running. Both servers will be up at all times, they are both somewhat still in development so there may be a few bugs. If you notice any of these bugs please report them to our DTS (technical services) team on our teamspeak. Our new public server is an Altis Domination type mission, very fun to go on and have some casual fun with the vanilla game. The MSO server is and ALiVE mission that runs on the map of Stratis. It is a very well made mission that our unit uses to train and have fun on all the time. Our MSO server uses our modpack and has a password on, so hop on teamspeak and join the unit and have some fun with the rest of the unit. Friday Night Events Every week on Fridays our unit has been involved in an event called 'Friday Night Fights', this is where our unit and a couple other units all get into one teamspeak and play PvP and Coop and a bunch of other games for night. The night starts out with some simple warm up games to get everyone going and to have a little fun, and by the end of the night the last game we play is a giant TvT mission. Every player only has one life, so if you die early then you're out. The event only requires 3 mods, Task Force Radio, Community Based Addons, and Voice Stop. NATO Joint Operations Staff Update NATOJO Special Forces is a military realism unit like many others, with NATOJO theres a lot of "behind the scenes" work that goes in to the unit other than playing in game and doing trainings and operations. Our unit has an in-game leadership body consisting of NCOs and officers. Being part of the in-game leadership positions means that you will be leading elements such as fire teams or squads in-game. Our out-game leadership body comprises of staff departments basically all the "behind the scenes" work. The out-game leadership body is responsible for helping maintain and organize the unit. The following leadership billets are available: In-game: Squad leader (rank of Staff Sergeant +) Fire team leader (rank of Sergeant +) Basic Operator (rank of Corporal and down) Pilot (rank of Warrant Officer 1 +) Out-of-game: Human Resources: This department manages all member information and roll call Misconduct: This department makes sure everyone is following all rules and controls all MP's (Military Police) Technical Services: This department manages all server side related materials and as well as keeps our mod pack & website up to date Training & Doctrine: This department manages our Basic Combat Training Class and looks over all our training documents and ideas Communications & Media: This department manages all our social media sites and keeps them up to date. Leadership is focused on activity, attitude, and knowledge. Activity means that you attend scheduled events such as individual training courses, team or squad training sessions, and operations. Attitude means that you conduct yourself in a respectful manner towards others and that you are willing to go the extra mile. Knowledge means that you meet standard training requirements. Initially you might not possess the required knowledge, but as you attend more and more training courses, you will increase your experience. If you posses the above-described attributes, and you would like to fulfill a leadership billet, then consider applying to our unit (details below).
