P3d muzzle flash bug fixed

Recommended Posts

Nice! Very good news. I always thought that it was because the demo models didn't support T&L.

Edit: Hmm.. just tried it and it doesnt seem to work. Perhaps what you mean with the "muzzle flash bug" is not the thing that I thought of.

I think its the addon makers that have to put it in the .ccp file of the weapon......or something.

Someone tried adding a CfgModels before, and they concluded that it didn't get rid of it. (That inane unlimited flash on their hacked P3D)

Where's FliPeR when you need him.

Yes, I tried putting it in a cpp file, but as I said, it didn't work. And I don't see how it would. AFIK the T&L models are separate from the normal ones.

What that fix seems to do is to fix the shadow of the model, not the actual T&L handling. I tried it also and the all showing muzzle flash shadow disappeared. But when switching to t&l mode, it was not fixed. So it was correct, to a degree =) Maybe a little misinformation tounge.gif

I actually found my own way of dealing with it, just pick up another weapon dropped by a dead soldier and then pick up the modified weapon again, that seems to fix it.
