Deletes array in array

Hello, is it possible to delete a array in array?

Example :

array1 = [["text1",1],["text2",2],["text3",3]];

array1 = array1 - [["text2",2]] does not work..

Simple solution:

array1 set [1, ">REMOVE<"];
array1 = array1 - [">REMOVE<"];

I'm pretty sure there is a BIS function (in Functions Module) that removes elements from a nested array. Check that out, might be similar to Deadfast's solution, but worth looking into.
