Sulu 10 Posted June 16, 2010 Hi I have been trying to run a game which is dynamic across the whole map as a two player online game. Both players are high commanders and have access to troops. When I test in the editor each individual commander can use the High Command interface but when it is online and there are two players only the host can use it, when the other player presses Ctrl+Space nothing happens. Is it possible to get two opposing high command going? I would be very sad if this hasn't been included! Any help getting two high commanders on two teams working would be great! sic-disaster 311 Posted June 16, 2010 Stupid question maybe, but are the other players Synced to the module? Have you tried creating a second module for the other player? Maybe that helps?
Sulu 10 Posted June 17, 2010 Hmm good point. I did try renaming one module as CDF and the other as Insurgent and went through and syncd most of the units for player two with a subbordinate module. I havn't done that for everyone and both sides so will test that.
Sulu 10 Posted June 17, 2010 Any other help? I've had no luck so far. It is like I cannot get artillery strikes to work for both players because even if I name the artillery, secops and the code different for both sides only one can use artillery. I'm beginning to think BI created the game with the thought that everyone would want to fight the AI.. There must be some talented coders or even BI developers out there...can anyone try it and get back to me? To clarrify I am trying to do the following.. BLUFOR High Commander controlling units and has AI controlled artillery strikes available OPFOR High Commander has the same. Thanks!
