New ARMA 2 Community

Hi,

I just wanted to introduce our ARMA 2 community to everyone here. Our name is Violator Gaming. We play games other than ARMA 2 such as, rFactor (and other racing sims), and other various games.

We are not new to ARMA 2. We briefly had our own server 9 months or so ago. One of my friends works for a server hosting company and was able to give me a reasonable price on hosting. Now we have our own top of the line server with priority over the box.

The server is located in NY, if you live anywhere on the east coast you should get under 30 ping.

Right now we are running mods such as WarFX, WarFX Tracers, CSM2, Reduced Voices, JTD Fire and Smoke, Zeus AI, and Tracked Vehicles Sound Mod.

All of the addons are signed and can be aquirred in an easy to install pack on my Mediafire.

You need the main folder with all of the mods. Some people have had corrupt files so I uploaded the three ones that they have had problems with in there as well. It is weird because other people have not had any problems.

We for the most part just play CTI. Right now Gossamers Warfare is on there, although we are working on getting Warfare BE installed. Our problem is that our server is 16 slot and Warfare BE tries to up the player limit. This locks us out of our server. We have to edit the mission file to be 8v8, I just am having problems doing so.

Until we can fix it, we will continue to use Gossamers Warfare.

If you are looking for a good US server for CTI this is the place to look. Yesterday there was a 7.5 hour match which ended by one team capping every town and the server FPS never dipped below 25!!
