thund3rbolt 10 Posted June 8, 2010 Hey Arma 2 crew, so i start playing Arma 2 and its the best action-realistic game ever. Better then other ego shooters and action games. I startet playing multiplayer 1 week ago, it worked perfect. Now i got a weird problem. When i press Multiplayer in the mainlobby then it tells me the message about online expierience can change etc... and then i press ok, then it loads (recieving...) then my game freezes and stops working. I dont hear any sound just a freeze. What is my problem? I test to remove my internet cable out of my modem and then pressed multiplayer again , then it worked (I was able to see the server-lobby). I just move the cable again in and the game freezed directly. Something is blocking? I tried to clean caches with ccleaner and tuneup but didnt worked. Cogar69 10 Posted June 12, 2010 I really don't know what's causing your problem or if this will help...but you could try adding Arma 2 to your DEP(Data Execution Prevention) exception list I don't know which OS your running but here it is for Vista Control Panel => System => Advanced System Settings => Advanced => Performance => Settings => Data Execution Prevention Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
boogey76 10 Posted July 31, 2010 i just had the same problem now, i was playing fine yesterday , and now all of a sudden it would freeze if i click multiplayer for maybe a minute, then show me no servers at all... single player and everything else is fine... i disconnected my cable from the router and when i tried again, voila, it was fine, i was in the lobby but with nothing, so i placed the cable back again, and clicked refresh, and same problem , freeeeeezing, till i had to CTRL ALT DEL .... someone earlier mentioned something to do with USB headset, he unplugged it and it worked, i tried it but no use, i checked all ports on the router, all antivirus, windows 7 firewall, on and off, no use...... what would make it suddenly change overnight i have no clue..... I even uninstalled battle eye completely and re installed it....no use.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
