graffix 10 Posted April 12, 2010 Hi all, My current rig; (nothing overlocked) 2GB ram Intl 2.4Ghz Dual Core nVidia 8800GTX Win Xp 32bit Im just wondering how much of a difference I would see/gain if I were to upgrade the RAM (4GB) as well as the gfx card, to something like an ati 5870. At the moment, it's running smooth on 'high' with a couple on 'normal' at 1680X1050 with AA and shadows off but stuggles a bit on missions with tons of AI. Alex72 1 Posted April 12, 2010 I upgraded from 8800GTS 320MB to GTX275 and it was a big difference. The 8800GTX is better than the 8800GTS ofcourse and the 5870 is better than the GTX275. Im sure youll see a great boost in performance when it comes to graphics. Im going for the 5870 myself even though i just baught the 275. The 5870 will move the game even further im sure.
