Raggi77 10 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Hello all.I have serious problem with the patch 1.05. Basically the game without any patches, everything runs perfect 30-40-50 fps. Just install the patch 1.05 the fps drop to 20 fixed max 22 fps. I tried everything according to your advice on various settings but have not solved in Arma2.cfg The problem is the patch. SASrecon 0 Posted April 5, 2010 Are you in playing the same scenario? The campaign is known for not being very performance-friendly due to various AI processes and scripts. Try ARMA2 mark or just a simple scenario in the editor where you put down one person in the editor keeping all variables the same (graphics settings, location & background processes/programes running)
Raggi77 10 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Tanks for the reply The problem persists on all occasions.Multilayer-campaign-sp mission I tested in a private room multiplayer mission domination with patch 1.04 and everything runs smoothly at 30-40 fps. with the patch 1.05 max 15-22 fps:confused: Edited April 5, 2010 by Raggi77
Alex72 1 Posted April 5, 2010 Sounds weird. To me and those i know got better performance with 1.05. I think some updates in it was specifically to get better FPS in towns etc so in theory it should run better. Hmmm... About the ARMA2.CFG did you delete it and restart ARMA? Resolution etc will reset so you have to make all settings again in the games options, and maybe even set monitor refresh rate etc in the ARMA2.CFG. What is your VIDEO MEMORY setting in the game? HIGH should be correct i think for 1GB VMEM (i have it HIGH and i have 896MB and it works great). Dont really know anything else atm. It sounds really weird. If i come up with anything else i post it. Good luck.

75th-VFS-Striker 10 Posted April 6, 2010 There is absolutely a problem with the 1.05 patch and certain systems. I went back to the 1.04 patch and it solved all my weird graphic problems. I was having all sorts of FPS slowdowns and blurriness with the 1.05 patch. Someone needs to look into it.
