Commanding UH-1Y

I know this question has prob been asked a million times but I cant find the answer...could someone PLEASE point me in the right direction to find out how to call up the UH-1Y..get it to land so I can load the squad and then how to tell it to navigate to a position I select on the map.... This is driving me crazy trying to figure it out. I D/L the game from Steam and do not have any manuals.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

If its in the Campain or a mission you can tell your units under your command,

to board the chopper ones its overhead and this is done by selecting your units- press 4(toprow not numpad)with these numers you can order your AI.

If you play in the editor you can use waypoints to get in and out off choppers. or other means, whatever you like.

There are also lots off guides and stuff around to help you with mission playing/editing

Hi Sarge... Thanks for the welcome...I think I figured it out.... I am playing campaign ... I figured out how to move my guys around..it was just the helio commands that I found really confusing....now I open the map...press my space bar to bring up the menu...select communications...select transport and click on the map....seems to work...is there any way to tell the chopper to circle an area?..... and...... I just remembered that I actually played this game a bit when I first got it last year...can I use the save games I had then.... the game was installed on another hard drive with vista on it...now I have a new drive with '7' but still have the vista one mounted and all the files intact (I have never reformatted it in case I missed something in the new installation of 7 :))

I point to the chopper and press the space bar to tell everyone to get in

Then I go to the map and press 0 the 8

I think it says something like transport active...then click on the map; it will say drop off and you'll be off
