Changing difficulty stettings during a mission

Hi everyone,

After some time, finally got myself a rig worthy of arma and i'm lovin' every bit of, just as i did with OFP.

Somewhere on the forum i've seen a post, stating that with the 1.03 patch, came an ability to change the difficulty of an campaign mission...during that mission. Could someone confirm that?

I've started playing on expert with most things turned off, but right now, when I'm on the Manhattan mission, it's really hard for me to get past some parts without the ability to save between autosaves.

Is there a way to change to normal difficulty with everything set the same as in expert, but with unlimited saves, without repeating the mission?

The way to change the difficulty is to go to "difficulty" and change it. :)

Before starting the campaign or in the middle of it: (ESC) - OPTIONS - GAME OPTIONS - DIFFICULTY (bottom middle button) - EDIT (button at bottom). There you can set the main difficulty like recruit/veteran etc plus also edit many things like crosshair on/off, waypoints on/off, AI team tags etc etc etc.
