Starting Video and Main Menu issues

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit (6.1 Build 7600)

Amd Athlon 64 X2 7550 @ 2.5ghz Dual Core

4096 Mb Corsair 800 mhz Dual Channel TwinX ram

ATI Radeon 4670 HD @ 2425 Mb Vram

VIA HD Audio

Ok this is my first post so bear with me.

I installed ArmA via Atari's direct download, and sucessfully installed ArmA Gold with Queen's Gambit, so the install was no problem. When I started it up for the first time, loading was slow and when it finally made progress the beginning movie with the main menu was slow and choppy, the menu selections were blacked out and only 1/3 of the screen was showing. I had gone to canyourunit.com before and the sys spec detector said my PC Exceeded the recommended requirements. Upon further investigation I patched the game to 1.14 and even did the dual core fix and AMD optimizer. All of my drivers are up to date and now I still can't seem to load the game. Any thoughts?
