STALKERGB 6 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Hello everyone, Had a search but couldn't find an answer. Been playing around with vehicles and their turrets, Anyway what I was wondering was if it was possible to have the magazine reload time different for each firemode? The gun I'm making works in a similar way to a RARDEN cannon, in real life the cannon has two 3 round clips, when the fire rate is slower, one clip can be reloaded while the other is being fired creating a constant volley of fire. BUT if the gunner chooses he can fire all 6 rounds at a higher fire rate, the reload time for this is longer as both magazines need to be replaced. (And the first round need manual loading? or something like that). I wondered if replicating this was possible in ARMA2. As it stands I have the SINGLE firemode set up with: reloadtime = 0.9 ---- time between each shot magazinereloadtime = 0.9 ----time to reload magazine (its the same to simulate 3 rnds being reloaded mid volley). And I have AUTO set up with reloadtime = 0.5 magazinereloadtime = 4.0 When i test this, the game seems to use the "reloadtime" instead of the "magazinereloadtime" when it comes to reloading meaning that in auto the reload happens even faster than single which is the opposite to what I want. Does anyone know if its possible to do what I'd want (through the config or scripting) or will I have to compromise? Thanks STALKERGB EDIT:Oops sorry mods, I think I put this in the wrong forum, should be config & scipting -- EDIT2: Thanks for moving :) Edited February 28, 2010 by STALKERGB
