How to: Edit the Helo Insertion point on the smaller Custom Islands?

How do i edit or move the Helo Insertion point on the smaller custom islands,

where the insertion point appears in the 'black' area outside of the confines of the map.

I am using the quick mission generator at:

Single Player - Senarios - "New mission" or "My Last mission" - 4. Combat

In all cases the insertion point is often outside of the map bounderies, and does not show up in the editor for me to move it over 'land'. This occurs with the smaller user made 'islands'.

The insertion point will show up when i hit 'preview', and the chopper will simply hover in no-man's-land because it has nowhere to land. BUT, when i go back to 'edit' the insertion point it is no where accessible or visible.

What am i doing wrong? ... or can someone offer some helpful 'tips',

or even point me elsewhere for the specific answer.

Which map are you trying it on. I'm not familiar with that island. And I'm not sure how that would be done unless you physically went in game and got the coordinates(maybe with this helpful script http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9588) and then did a "set position" and/or a "get position" of some sort via a script, trigger, etc. to to beam the object/unit/wp/etc to that exact position.

I'm just learning about this stuff at the moment so I can't provide any specific examples. My apologies.

It depend on the place off the missionstuff, when placing the mission on a smaller map some stuff or all can be then outside the map and not be used,

eay way to solve: first load you mission on chernarus, puth everything bit close together so its easy'er to get all stuff over, then save.

second. make a missionmap on the new small island and place your mission in,

when you start the mission you will see where your stuff comes,

now you can move your stuff in the chernarus mission so you can have all off it on the small map!

Still unresolved.

I need someone out there to 'humor' me :o on this one:

Try this sequence, see if u get the same result, and PLEASE help me to resolve what i may be doing wrong:

Single player > Scenarios > My Mission > New Mission > Create > 04. Combat > Map > Quesh-Kibrul > Edit = NO VISIBLE SPAWN POINTS > Preview = visible spawn points, BUT they are way off the Map, and can't be edited.

This is for the 'poor man's mission makers' like myself. :confused:

hi, your problem lies with the single player mode, its based on Chernarus map and thats why when you want a mission beeing build on a other map it places everything outside the map, the mission pre-build works best on Chernarus or Utes.

dont know a solution for it, mayby try with some other maps and see what the result is there.
