General_Kalle 10 Posted February 17, 2010 if you haven't completed it it might be a spoiler first time i played this i died a few times in the village, but finally made it to the docks by running around the village to the right, while the spetznatz were busy in the center. I got to the boat and jumped on but while the USMC officer were leaving the docks, dreadfully slow:j:, someone shot me from the docks, now i've found out that the spetznatz sniper gets teleported to the docks when you enter the boat like to make sure you die. So i loaded a save and decided to finish off the spetznatz aswell... the officer did say Survival of the fittest didn't he?:p Turns out they are cats... 9 lives or more. they take about a 100 rounds to kill each so i gave up on that and decided to try another aproach, so after starting over i let them live and we cleared the village, but after that they run to the docks and just stand there. when i run ahead towards the boat they shoot me in the back. what are you supposed to do? find a satchel and blow them to kingdom come? i am using Ace mod if that makes a difference. tsb247 0 Posted February 17, 2010 The following contains a spoiler, but I think it will solve your problem. You are supposed to clear the town alongside the speznatz team. When you reach the docks, they are supposed to have you defend the position while one of them tries to start the boat, and you will all draw match heads to see who has to stay behind and cover the escape. If you don't draw the short match head, you will board the boat while one stay behind and covers you. If there is an alternate way to finish the mission, I have not tried it yet. airborne_hk 0 Posted February 18, 2010 When you approached the boat, did the speznatz leader said somethings like... Kill the American. He doesn't know where this shelter is. He will not help you.
