nunard 0 Posted November 20, 2001 In the mission  where you have to escape as you have been captured when you loose your plane, I am not able to end the mission. I succeed in escaping and crossing the mountains. but when i find the other nato forces. they don't react and the mission doesn't end!! shadow warrior 0 Posted November 20, 2001 hmmm, how did you get to the south (safety)? First time I did it I jumped in the chopper, blew everything to bits and flew to the south where I landed it and got out - then it goes black (I guess BIS didnt think some people would do it that quick! ) and the soldier says 'halt who goes there etc..... and the mission should finish. Other way you get up to the mountains and navigate by the stars, then eventually you just hear the voice 'halt.....etc' and then it should end. If you hear that voice and it doesnt end I dont know whats wrong, but possibly you havent gone far enough into the mountains and you've found the 'wrong' nato soldiers?!?! nunard 0 Posted November 21, 2001 I crossed the mountains like its intended (I guess!). But when I find the soldiers none of them says anything and just stand still, so probably something is wrong at the end of the level. I will keep on trying!! Any case thanx for your advice! shadow warrior 0 Posted November 21, 2001 What seems strange is that you shouldnt be able to actually see the soliders, it should be pitch black (night time). So how are you seeing anything??!?! Who are they??? The chopper thing is a bit of trial and error, sometimes you just make it onboard, others times you get shot. If it still doesnt finish try hitting 'SHIFT' and numpad '-' (minus) and type ENDMISSION - this should force it to end the mission. Not sure if it'll say you completed it successfully though. nunard 0 Posted November 22, 2001 Thanks for the tip to end the mission.If everything else fails I will give it a try. THe nato soldiers I meet are: 3 riflemen and a officier with a jeep, they are at the camp which we conquered in an earlier mission.
