Bluediesel 10 Posted January 27, 2010 Hi, I had a look through the forum but could not find anything similar. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem- or even better if someone could help me fixing my problem. FYI- I have a genuine boxed version of ARMA2 out of the store- not a copy. After buying the game last year I installed it on on my old computer under windows XP and had not problems with it (except for the usual bugs...) Now I have upgraded my computer to an I7 system. With this I changed to 6GB Ram and WINDOWS7 Ultimate 64bit. I installed a number of games (OFP2, HOI3...) without any problems. When I try to install ARMA2 I first get the message that their is not enough space left on the HD (even though I have got over 300GB left). When I click continue (anyway) it asks me for the CD-Key as usual. But when I enter my CD-Key (which I did not give to a third party) it tells me that it is the wrong CD-Key....?!? Has this to do with WINDOWS7 or what else is the problem- and HOW do I fix this. As I am more than happy with WIN7 so far I would not really want to go back to XP just to be able to run ARMA2. I already sent a couple of mails to the support, but have not received ANY answer. Hope someone can help me to get this running. Cheers...
Bluediesel 10 Posted January 28, 2010 Hi everyone, thanks for all your help and support. I have found the problem and the game is working fine now. What was the problem- operator error..... I tried to install using my ARMA(1) DVD and the ARMA2 Key. This it what happens if you keep all your DVDs nice and tidy in the covers.....
