Need to disable muzzleflash

This is in connection with my muzzleflash mod, i need to disable the old muzzleflash which is based from the weapon .p3d itself "zasleh" is there a way to disable this without ripping apart the weapon models ie a simple config entry to disable them??? Cheers

afaik you can define the name of the muzzleflash selection in the config. if you change that to something different than "zasleh" it maybe isnt working anymore.

Ive tried the selectionFireAnim but i dont think this changes anything.

I think if that happened you might end up with it always on, I have had it where the muzzle flash has always been there lol

Is there any kind of command that will hide a selelction (such as zasleh)?

If you define it as hiddenSelection it shouldnt show up.

a simple config entry:

hiddenSelections[]={"zasleh"};

This could work and additionally change selectionFireAnim to something else than zasleh.

well its a proxy nowadays so i dont think that hiddenselection trick could work.
