Jaime 10 Posted January 1, 2010 Hi guys If got a really strange error while playing in multiplayer in arma 2 it happens to me in some servers, in some of them everything goes okay. The error is while I play on a multiplayer server at about 10 min or less mi player cant get into vehicles or kill enemy or interact with anything on the server is like if i was a ghost inside the server i can move around shoot guns and stuff but none of mi mates can see me as player, but they can see im conected inside the server. The error is really anoing and is killing the game for me cause y have a clan and in the clan server i get the error and i cant play with mi mates and is not a server problem cause im the only one who has that problem. It happens to me a lot specialy when y die and in revive mods. I have a 3 mb internet conection that is really stable i got a 50 ping on the server and mi router is a n1 of belkin with no firewall, ports fowarded and well configured never had an error with it. Mi Spec WIN vista 64 home premiun geforce 9800 gx 2 p5ql pro q6600 4 gb ram If you need more details im willing to do anything to solve the problem cause arma 2 is a really great game. Alex72 1 Posted January 1, 2010 Some servers have more desync towards you because of your internet speed and their internet speed plus their location and amount of players etc. When people join there is also more likely to be desync as it has to send all info to the connecting players. Cant tell you why it happens though as i dont know what server this happens on, and where it is in the world. Your internet speed counts as well as the servers and number of players plus how long the server been up (i think). Think Kju or some other server gurus can answer you better though.
