ARMAPlayer_1 10 Posted January 1, 2010 Hello, I have a very powerful 3.3Ghz rig | 8GB RAM with high end graphics GTX 260, but as soon as I try to enable AA everything slows to a crawl. What gives? The same exact thing happens whenever I enable HDR in Rainbow Six Vegas - Everything comes to a crawl mouse movement is choppy as ..... I can max everything in ARMA with AA set to disabled - Totally playable I can minimize every feature in ARMA then turn on AA and its still choppy as ..... I have tried nhancer profiles and nothing works My version of ARMA was bought thru steam/valve Apparently steam only saw it neccessary to update to 1.14 for all their customers. I am using NVIDIA 195.62 WHQL and Nvidia 15.51 WHQL for windows 7 64 Bit Its horrible to play this game with shimmering type graphics, because of no AA. As the topic says I am "so confused as to why a GTX 260 896MB DDR 4 and 3.3Ghz | 8GB 1066Mhz RAM can't run this game properly at 1680x1050" ---------- Post added at 10:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:45 PM ---------- Here is a video I uploaded to better show the problem http://www.youtube.com/user/sniper231jrc Click on ARMA 1 As you can see with no AA my mouse is super fast 3600DPI laser Logitech G9. I can get on my targets very fast when needed. Now watch my mouse speed with any AA enabled Now watch the actual mouse lag inside a simple tent with AA enabled
