Intros and manditory night vision.

My intro is at about 5 in the morning and it never takes off the night vision. The whole reason i have my intro at 5 in the morning is to get the effect of the sunrise, with the explosions and battle. So id like to know if theres any way to get rid of the night vision.

Ok the problem is, that the Unit you are looking thru activates its NV as soon as its night, dusk or dawn. The solution is that you have to remove the NV goggles.

Open the units window and enter into the init line:

this removeweapon "nightvisiongoggles";

I hope that this is the correct term... if not pls sombody tell us.

actually, no. thats not workin. i entered This removeweapon "nvgoggles"in all of the initialization fields of all the units that were on my side (I dont imagine the enemys night vision would effect it), and it still doesnt work.

As I know you have green screen in cutscenes only if you (as player) have nvgoggles on. So try remove it from player.

Try putting it in your "init.sqs" file. OFP calls it automatically before the breifing pops up, so it should call it before the intro.

Just make sure you add the goggles back in the init field of the player.
