CTD in MP only

Recommended Posts

Creates this thread since no one seemed to respond to another post I made inside another thread.

My game never crashes in SP only MP, can play for random amount of time but half hour seems to be max for now. The crahses can happen when there is loads of stuff happening and when I am all alone, doesnt seem to mather what I am doing.

Should be said that I have read through several CTD threads but nothing seemed to help so far. Might have missed something so please just spew out all the things you can think of. FPS are always fine before crash but some graphical error occurs. Flickering and wierd model disfiguration stuff happening.

Not SLI yet since I dont have the cash for it Nothing wrong with the hardware since this is the only game that does this and I have tried em all with memtest and so on and so on. It is not a heat problem or power problem tested and working fine during SP and other games and stresstests. Cleaned out the inside of the computer and it is all fine there also.

Have tried several settings ingame (as Nvidias controlpanel recommended also but then it got even worse :P) but same thing happens. The only thing I haven tried yet is lowering the resolution (will do so later when I have time again). Any suggestions on what to do? Might it just be A.C.E that is freaking my comp out (will try vanilla when I have time also)?

Arma 2 1.04 A.C.E updated half hour ago.

Nvidia drivers: 195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_w hql

Manufacturer: NVIDIA

Processor: Intel® Core2 Extreme CPU X9650 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Memory: 4096MB RAM

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Motherboard: EVGA nForce-790i Ultra SLI, DDR3

*Edit*

Just confirmed crash with vanilla Arma2 MP play, this is getting annoying.

Well my problem seems to be solved now, updated my Nvidia drivers to 195.81_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_beta that just came out and it worked fine.

Lets hope it stays this way :) Just letting u know if someone else gets the same problem.
